Need to buy barrels

Since I will go on my two week honeymoon this Friday, I need resolve my barrel strategy for the 2002 wines. I want to buy some 1-2 yrs. old French barrels. Over the next couple of days, I will call some of the wineries that advertised used barrels on Winery Site-- Merry Edwards and Cornerstone. I also saw that Pickering has some brand new Vernou barrels. I was happy with their hybrid barrels (French heads and American staves) for the 2001 Eno: Zinfandels.

I have created a "French Barrel Costs and Depreciation" chart illustrating how much red and white barrels depreciate over time. They depreciate proportionately to the amount of oak flavor is left. The older the barrel, the less oak it imparts into the wine.
