Syrah- Potential Source

In response to Winery Site posting-- Syrah & Cab Grapes : Brentwood, I talked to Jeff from Cana Wines. The 40 acre vineyard is in Brentwood (a town south of Oakley) in Contra Costa County.

Yield: 3-4 tons per acre
Acrage: 30 acres

Jeff's clients are 5 Napa wineries including: Steltzer and Saddleback. I made an appointment to visit the vineyard next Saturday around 10 am.
