Eaglepoint Ranch Article in S.F. Chronicle

The SF Chronicle has published a great article,"Interlocking ambitions" on the Mendocino vineyard, Eaglepoint Ranch, where I source Grenache (photo album). The article provides the history of the ranch, paints a colorful portrait of the people behind it, and shares it's future plans.

Based on the Grenache I've tasted and made from this vineyard, I'm very excited about its future. Casey is a talented grower and sources grapes to many of California great wineries- Rosenblum, Copain, Edmunds St. John, and Thackery.

I am grateful that I have the opportunity to make wine from this vineyard. As the Chronicle points out, it truly is a remarkable place.

Sasha-

Thanks for praising the article about Eaglepoint Ranch that I wrote for the Chronicle. Eaglepoint and its people sure do make for a good story, but I have to point out that the Chronicle did not write the story. I suppose that using the newspaper's name in your plug makes things sound more authoritative, but I can assure you that all the paper did was print the piece. I proposed the story, the paper agreed to buy it, and I wrote it independently without any instructions or guidance. Like most writers, I take praise from other writers (meaning you) especially to heart. So thanks again for your kind words and keep up the good work!
