Snow at Eaglepoint Ranch

A cold weather system in early March has brought plenty of rain (over 7 inches), some small hail, and a decent amount of snow.

Casey Hartlip, the grower at Eaglepoint Ranch took these stunning shots early in the morning. Since the vines haven't gone thru budbreak, the vines should be fine.

About 15-18 acres still need to be pruned. My block of the Grenach is one of those. Casey waits till the last moment to prune the grenache because it delays budbreak.

Break out those cross country skis....
