2001 Eno: Zinfandel- Little Miss Dangerous

This Zinfandel has quite a personality. Hailing from the renowned Ray Teldeschi Vineyard in Sonoma's Dry Creek Valley, the flavor exhibits dark cherries, blackberries, with a hint of mischief in the finish. The wine has the grace to drink now or age beautifully over the next 4 years. Be warned--drinking it is like running with scissors.

  • The Story Behind the Wine

The name, like the vineyard, has a history. This wine was called "Little Miss Dangerous" for its bright, youthful, yet mischievous flavor profile. Her ancestors are over a hundred years old and she's growing up quickly. The wine's underlying depth and complexity references the vineyard's older vines.

Ray Teldeschi's ancestors were no exception. Over the past 60 years, his family has become renowned grape growers selling to some of the most prestigious Zinfandel producers.
