Tasting Notes
In 2001, the wine from this vineyard was Little Miss Dangerous. This year, she was Caught Red Handed.
A much bigger and bolder wine than its predecessor, it retains the more elegant aspects of Zinfandel. Though it clocks in at 16% alcohol, the balance of blackberry and cherry fruit with acidity is perfect.

The Story Behind the Wine
2001 was the first year Eno made wine from the Teldeschi Vineyard. The inaugural wine was affectionately referred to as Little Miss Dangerous. In 2002, the mischief continued and she was Caught Red Handed. Was it the stained hands from crushing the grapes? Our indulgence in pleasure? Or our dear Martha Stewart getting caught with her hands in the cookie jar?
Read an excerpt story behind the wine on how the grapes were picked in the nick of time, how we ensured that bins didn't tip over, and how we returned missing parts of the truck. All part of my Winemaking Journal.

The Vineyard
Over a hundred years ago, Italian immigrants drove wagons into Dry Creek Valley in Sonoma County, California. Immediately, they planted the rolling hillsides with what was reminded them of home—grapes.
Ray Teldeschi's ancestors were no exception. Over the past 60 years, his family has become renowned grape growers selling to some of the most prestigious Zinfandel producers.
