2006 Zinfandel "Acre of Happiness" - Teldeschi Vineyard, Dry Creek Valley
-
Tasting Notes
A classic Dry Creek Zinfandel with a nose of blackberry, briar and a hint of white pepper and spice. A touch of honeysuckle and earthiness also comes through.
It's medium-bodied, with plum, blackberry and cherry, as well as a nice spice that comes through mid- to late-palate. Mouth filling but with a refreshing acidity on the finish keep it lively and food-friendly.
This wine is unfiltered and unfined; sediment is expected and natural.

The Vineyard
In 2001, Ray Teldeschi, a renowned grape grower, gave us our first break – access to amazing Dry Creek Zinfandel for our first vintage.
After enjoying "Little Miss Dangerous" and "Caught Red Handed", Ray promoted us to the super old vines – over 120 years old. We are grateful for a business relationship that has evolved into friendship.
